The AFBN has several positions.

The various positions are held by people responsible for their part of the goings-on within the AFBN.

The following positions are currently filled or vacant within the AFBN:

AFBN Director

Johan Oosterhuis is responsible for the day-to-day management of the league. As director, he implements the policies set by the board and supports committees, associations and staff members in carrying out their tasks. He is the central link between the board, the organization and external parties. Johan can be reached via this link.

AFBN Competition Leader

Ditte Ho-Versteegt Coordinates all national tackle and flag competitions. She ensures the smooth running of playing days, game schedules and communication with teams. In addition, she maintains oversight of regulations, game schedules and competition matters. Ditte can be reached at this link.

AFBN Flag Commissioner 

Stijn Henneveld is responsible for the development, promotion and organization of flag football within the AFBN. He monitors flag policy, maintains contact with clubs and is committed to the growth of the sport at all levels: from youth to seniors, from grassroots to national team. AFBN Tackle Commissioner 

The function of Tackle Commissioner is currently vacant. The Tackle Commissioner oversees the development of tackle football within the Netherlands and is the point of contact for clubs, coaches and staff members within the tackle branch of the sport. AFBN Technical Director 

Fred Armstrong Is responsible for the top sports technical management of the national teams (flag and tackle). He supports the head coaches, monitors the top sports policy and works on the further development of talents and coaches within the national program. Fred can be reached at this link.

AFBN Prosecutor 

Ralph Lenoire is charged as an independent prosecutor with investigating and assessing possible violations of the regulations within the AFBN. He advises the disciplinary committee and contributes to the fair and sporting conduct of the leagues. Ralph can be reached at this link.

Trust contact 

Desiree Zondervan is the AFBN's confidential contact person. She has been trained by NOC*NSF and is the first point of contact for anyone within the association who is faced with cross-border behavior, intimidation or other integrity issues. Desiree offers a listening ear, thinks about possible follow-up steps and refers to appropriate help or agencies if necessary. Everything discussed with her is done in confidence.
