The AFBN Referees Committee
The Referee Committee aims to work daily to ensure the safe, fair and consistent play of American football in the Netherlands. It does this by ensuring the quality, independence and continuity of all referees active within the AFBN leagues.
The committee contributes to the development of the level of play through training, coaching and assessment of officials, and by fostering a professional and sporting arbitration culture. In addition, the Referee Committee works to promote the referee profession to recruit and retain new officials.
