Confidential Contact

The AFBN Confidential Contact

The American Football Association Netherlands has a Confidential Contact trained by the NOC*NSF.

The confidential contact person (VCP) is the first point of contact for questions, suspicions, reports, complaints and reports regarding transgressive behavior. The VCP is accessible to players, parents of players, executives, volunteers and administrators.

In most cases your club has a confidential contact person whose contact details can be found on your website. If your club does not have a confidential contact person or if you would like to talk to someone else, you can contact the Confidential Contact Person using the contact details below.

The confidential contact person provides initial reception and is the first point of contact. She accepts reports, informs about possible follow-up steps, provides process guidance and has an advisory role towards associations.

Some concrete examples Of when the VCP can be contacted:

  • An association wants to establish preventive policies to prevent (sexual) harassment/border crossing behavior;
  • There has been (sexual) harassment/cross-border behavior, this may have taken place offline and online;
  • Someone has been accused of (sexual) harassment/cross-border behavior;
