There is another open tackle tryout for the U20 Dutch Lions in operation Sunday, May 10th Utrecht. Are you between the 16 and 20 years in the current year and ready to show your talent? This is the last chance this season to show your football talent to national coach Fred Armstrong.

The day consists of position-specific exercises, skill tests, 1-on-1 drills and full scrimmage situations. All of this under the guidance of multiple coaches, including the national coach. A unique opportunity to put yourself in the spotlight for the highest level.

Program – Sunday, May 10, 2026

Location: Utrecht

• 10 a.m. - Walk-in registration

• 10:30 a.m. - Registration closes

• 11 a.m. - Start of open tryouts

• 12:30 p.m. - End of tryouts U20

Important to know

This tryout will be played with full pads and helmet. Players should, therefore, keep their bring your own equipment. Without full protection, you cannot participate.

Player License 2026-2027

Everyone who is ultimately selected for the national team must possess a Dutch Lions player license 2026/2027. There are costs associated with this license. This amount must be paid separately.

The license includes:

• multiple training sessions on and off the field

• practice match(s) in the fall

• preregistration for the U21 NFL Academy Trip in the fall of 2026

The cost for this license is € 125,00 per selected player.
