On this page you will find the official documents that define the structure, decision-making and responsibilities within the American Football Association of the Netherlands (AFBN). Together, these statutes and regulations form the legal and organizational foundation of the league.
Statutes of the AFBN
The statutes are the highest legal document of the AFBN. Among other things, they describe how the league is organized, what the powers of the General Assembly are, how the board is appointed and what procedures apply to decisions.

Executive Statute
The Executive Charter defines the duties, powers and responsibilities of the AFBN Director. This document clarifies the executive role of the director within the day-to-day management of the league and its relationship to the board.

Top Sports Statute
The top sports statute describes the rights and obligations of players who are part of the national teams (flag and tackle). It contains agreements on selection criteria, codes of conduct, facilities, coaching and the role of athlete representation. This statute is in line with the requirements of NOC*NSF and supports the further development of American football as a recognized top sport in the Netherlands.
