Regulations of the AFBN
In addition to the statutes, the American Football Association of the Netherlands (AFBN) has a number of regulations that regulate the day-to-day affairs of the association and the sport. These regulations flesh out policy, provide clarity in implementation and support a fair and safe sporting climate.
Below is an overview of all applicable regulations, divided into three categories: AFBN Regulations, ISR Regulations and Other Regulations.
AFBN Regulations
These regulations are established by the AFBN and apply to all affiliated clubs, officials and members.

ISR Regulations
For all non-game technical matters, the AFBN works with the Institute of Sports Law (ISR). This independent body handles disciplinary cases involving doping, sexual harassment, match-fixing and other integrity issues.
